LO1- My programme

 My programme will be a interview with an artists from Doncaster known as 1Mawb, we will talk about his latest releases, his inspirations and where we will se him in the future. 

It will be structured similar to BBC 1 xtra in the sense that It will be written very informal and will consist of a lot of relatable humour that can be enjoyed by our target audience.

  How does your planned connect reflect the codes and conventions of a real programme? After analysing Capital XTRA, and their programmes. I understand that they use specific codes and conventions to produce a good radio programme. One example of this, would be the introduction, and jingles that play at the beginning of a radio show, or when introducing a new host. I utilised this specific convention in my radio programme and included a jingle and intro into our radio programme. The jingle we used was in the style of Hip-Hop, as our programme focused on interviewing a Rapper called 1Mawb. We have done this as too make the audience know that they are listening to a Hip-Hop radio station. LO1- Types of radio stations

  An example of a National commercial radio station would be Absolute radio, Absolute radio 80s, and Absolute radio 90s, owned by  Bauer Media Group. These radio stations obtain funding via adverts and  sponsors  from other conglomerate  companies. Each station plays contemporary music from specific genres of music from different eras, each station appeals to its own niche and uses targeted ads to market directly to their target audience.
